This project concern the restructuring of a multi-family house, located in the province of Naples.
This restructuring provides to the enlargement of areas and volumes of housing units on the mezzanine floor, re-functionalization and rehabilitation of the basement.
The project, therefore, affects only the first floor, the basement and the accommodation of the garden.
Through the excavation of this one has been possible to carry out the basement floor, at least for the part stating the garden and, proceeding with the reclamation works, it was arranged a flat on 2 levels for a family of 4 persons, plus an additional apartment located on the second level and for which they were required to ensure the most complete autonomy and an easy relation with the rest of the house.
With the creation of a further volume in rise of the terrace in the garden, it was obtained a double height space, where is located the staircase and the main entrance. This area becomes the heart of the home, an element of the relationship between sleeping area, living area and the outdoor with the garden.

At level 1, we find the entrance, the stairs and the living area including the hall that, through a wide sliding door, is related to the kitchen-dining room and services.
At level 2, at the unmount of the stair, we find a space that overlooks the double height and can have multiple functions (studio, guest room, etc.). It leads to the sleeping area with two bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower in common and a corridor with some wardrobes, that connects the home with the other smaller apartment.

In the project, takes a fundamental role the garden that is articulated on various levels and becomes an area equipped for outdoor living.
